CIRCUS in SUNDANCE 2010 !!

PATROL by John Patton Ford screened as an official selection in the shorts lineup at Sundance 2010. The sincerely delivered story of a divorced security guard (Daniel Jones) struggling to impress his son features Circus as the helpful(?) surf-bum.

Circus did not attend (due to scheduling issues including the premiere of trippin’) but kept updated on the response of the audiences throughout the week.

James Franco loves the film. It's playing in the same block as his short,” reported Jones from Sundance, “It's a really strong block.”

This year’s 70 short films from U.S. and international filmmakers were selected from 6,092 submissions.

At left, PATROL’s second SUNDANCE audience sits in anticipation.
